Smith-Midland Corp. Announces Results for the Quarter Ended June 30, 2007, With 24% Revenue Increase and $1,178,923 Pre-Tax Net Income

Midland, Va. - Smith-Midland Corporation (OTCBB and Boston Stock Exchange:SMID) announced increased revenue of $1,535,954, or 24%, and increased pre-tax income of $697,332, for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 as compared to the same period of 2006. Total revenue was $7,898,945 for the quarter ended June 30, 2007, compared to total revenue of $6,362,991 for the same quarter of 2006. The Company had pre-tax income of $539,695 for the quarter ended June 30, 2007, compared to a pre-tax loss of $157,637 for the same quarter of 2006.

Total revenue was $16,386,629 for the six months ended June 30, 2007, compared to total revenue of $13,360,159 for the same period of 2006. The Company had pre-tax income of $1,178,923 for the six months ended June 30, 2007, compared to a pre-tax income of $177,491 for the same period of 2006.
